Could you share your background before being an entrepreneur and starting Anaconda, what led you to start a company, and your formative years/background in general? - 0:16

You made an interesting insight, which is a lot of the data science tooling, open-source tools in general, often created by scientists for other scientists (as opposed to by developers for other developers.) Could you elaborate on that? - 3:08

Python is one of the most widely known and adopted programming languages in the world. Anaconda as a company has existed for less than 10 years, Python has been around for decades. But you’ve built a huge user community. How have you built such a large community, and what are the key learnings you can unpack? (See: https://www.google.com/search?q=end+user+computing) - 5:33

Talk about the Anaconda business models over the years. You’ve raised venture capital, for-profit company. How do you make money, how have you thought about making money over the years, how do you think about the continuation of the business model? - 8:14

A lot of the open-source technologies that Anaconda supports are in the NumFocus Foundation. Can you share why the NumFocus Foundation was created and what role it serves for open-source ecosystems? - 11:51

What are the most non-intuitive things you’ve explored and learned about as the founder of a company that has such a huge open-source ecosystem? What have you learned over the last few years that weren’t obvious at the beginning? - 14:02

You’ve been doing some really innovative things around sustainability, and including the open-source community in your incentive structure. Can you share those developments you announced pretty recently? - 19:23
