COSS Weekly #104

Here's the one-hundred fourth issue of COSS Weekly, the global commercial open source (COSS) company category newsletter, brought to you every weekend by the team at OSS Capital, creators and stewards of COSS Community and Open Core Summit.

We deliver only the most fresh 😋 news from the previous week in COSS across: Funding, Content, Jobs, Liquidity and $COSS (Public Markets).

Last week saw $39.25M in funding for Gitpod, FlowForge, Budibase, and OpenBioML, the acquisition of Remix by Shopify (and OSS Capital's first exit!), and major news for Godot and Cal.com!

Enjoy!

  • Juan Linietsky: "Having cute, colorful logos to differentiate from the cold, boring, enterprise and "professional" proprietary software has always been a staple of FOSS and it never hampered adoption (despite ever existing criticism).
