Apollo, creating a programmatic approach to labeling and managing the data at the heart of AI development, announced their $130M Series D at +$1.5B valuation led by Insight Partners. Link

JJ: "IMO, open core as a company building approach is a positive term relative to the open source core, not a negative one. I've always believed that the open source core (vs. the closed "crust") is most valuable to non-customers, not least valuable; inverse methods are anti-patterns." Link
